Anyone run spacers on stock wheels?

Just as the title says, has anyone run spacers on first gen cts with stockers? I'm looking get the rear wheels/tires to sit more flush with the fender. At the moment I'm running the 12 spoke 18x8 chrome wheels with 255 45 18 tires. I have no plans to lower it and the car has fe5 package if that matters. Best place to get the spacers? What would be the best size?

Of course having the tires/wheels flush with the fender would look good. I dont even know if there are 5x115 spacers, though. I was wrong, here is a link:

I saw someone selling a set of modified stock Vee rims with 11mm spacers once. The rims were modified so that the rear wheels were up front and the fronts had been widened 2" for use in the rear. They said the 11mm spacer was perfect.

Hope that at least helps give you an idea.

Since you're doing this for aesthetic reasons, the best size is entirely up to you - none of us can tell you what you want the car to look like. Go out to your car with a tape measure and see how much farther out you would like the wheel/tire to sit. There's your spacer size. Or take a wheel off, slip some washers over the studs, bolt the wheel back on, drop the car off the jack, see how it looks, repeat until you get desired look and then measure the stack of washers.

There are limitations based on wheel stud length and lug nut thread engagement; beyond a certain thickness you would need to use a bolt-on spacer vice a slip-on spacer. And bolt-on spacers only come in certain thicknesses, and the back of the stock wheels may not allow fitment of the bolt-on spacers. But all of that is true regardless of what car you're putting them on, so you probably know all of that already.

**** that i just put 1 inchers in front and back which is 25mm they are great on amazon 110 for all 4 billet. Honestly one would be happy with a 20mm in front cause my front tire is a cm or so past my fender and no rubbing. Rear tire is a fuzz past flush with fender i would say 1 inchers are a good look though all around with the stock 17s. I just need to get it lowered i already got my mighty mouse mod sitting here.

Would like to point out the spacers i mentioned on amazon search "cadillac cts 5x115 wheel spacer" and you should see it they make 1 and 2 inchers. These are perfectly bored for the 04-07 cts to 70.3mm or whatever and a really snug fit. I think i either need new lugs or a skinny socket of some sort though.
