    Windshield repair question

    Hello everyone,
Had a question about windshield repair. I know it has nothing to do with our cars in particular but thought you all might have some advise. I wanted to know if there is any way to fix those ugly half mon scratches or rub marks that occur when the metal from a wiper blade has been scratching or rubbing the windshield? I know you can have cracks and chips repaired, but how about the ugly scratches? Its sort of a white half moon shaped mark.

    Thanks,

    Rob

A glass repair shop would be able to polish them out. I assume that you could probably do it at home, but as to what products and stuff you need, i do not know off hand.

Thanks for the info. That's what I was wanting to know if it is possible. I guess I can take it to a shop but if it were possible to do it myself that would be even better.

Something like DP High Performance Glass Restorer would probably do the trick
