    03 starting issue

I am having some trouble starting my 2003 CTS. Turn key to start and nothing, not even a click. Battery shows over 14 volts, dash lights and radio works...everything else is working fine just won't turn over. ( clock in dash is fine, not spinning backwards... if it was I'd say battery ). No engine light, no codes. After 2-5 attempts it starts right up and runs fine. Could this be a bad CPS ( crankshaft poison sencor) ? Thanks in advance for your advice and knowledge.

when my cps on my 03 went out, the starter would "cycle" but wouldn't start. what are you reading the battery voltage on?

The battery reading is 14.4 volts ..read out on the DIC. When I turn the key to start there is absolute nothing... no sound of anything happening. Just had yo move my car to the street so wife can get her car out.... took me 5 times to get it to start.

the time my battery was going bad, it would click or pop several times and that was all it would do. and my cps didn't act the way you are describing

Did you buy any chance make a copy of the key? You have to have the key programmed.
