Ok, first things first, AAIIIC, you have come across lately to me to be a pretty big *******. You never have any normal comments. You are always on here trashing everyone else's comments. There are ways to reply to a post without being a douche bag.
Secondly, yes the tire is 2" bigger. He has a 16" rim. You can put 22's on a car and you are saying that a slightly bigger tire won't fit with stock suspension. The tire is 2" larger, so it is actually going to be an inch further into the wheel well. To the OP, look at your car right now. You probably have a out 2-3" minimum of wheel well gap. I would bet quite a bit that those tires will fit just fine.
Comparing that tire to 22's doesnt help your case, tho. The common tire size used with 22's is 245/30/22.
245/30/22... 27.75" diameter.
235/65/16... 28.05" diameter. The proposed 16" tire is taller. Everyone with 245s and 22's rolls their fenders. Some get away without rolling when they run 225's. A 235/65/16 is going to be very close to rubbing at full lock, full load, heavy braking, etc...I bet it rubs.

I can't imagine a full-size SUV would only have 225s or 235s on it. Tire Rack says the Escalade came with 265s.

This was my original question before it got sidetracked to SUV tires....I bought the 235's and it looks like their is plenty of room without looking jacked up. With the snow we get here and the potholes, an extra inch of ground clearance is welcome for the winter months. I HAVE NOT mounted them yet, so I still don't know if there will be a turning issue. The rear is a fit no doubt.
