At a loss with HID install

I've spent a solid 5 hours pulling off the front bumper (rusted bolts) and messing with these damn HID's. I put a set of 9006's in the Low beam and 9005's in the Fog Lights and not a single bulb will light. I've tried switching bulbs and ballasts and nothing works. I'm about to give up and put it all back together stock

    Any Idea's???

Ok so do you have factory HID's? Or are you putting in HID's? What kind of kit did you get? Did you do HIDs in the fogs also? Just want some more info.

Have you tried reversing the polarity of the connections to the ballasts?

That was it...Assumed they were notched for a reason, assumed wrong.

it tells you which is + and - on the car, but its the HID kits that some 11 year old soldiered the wires on the wrong way.

Or maybe it's the fact our cars use reverse polarity for our lighting.
