    reputable tuners are $375 - $700. don't think you'll get much for $25.

That's all a steamy pile!!!! If you want power and torque, get an intake an exhaust and an isolator. That will get you up to almost 300 hp

    Re: Tuner chip

i had someone at work tell me they put a some sort of "chip" on the intake manifold... sounds like a resistor that messes with the air fuel mixture or air temp.
apparently it works, and he notice lots of improved power and better gas mileage.
oh ya... it was a brand new car with 0km on it when he installed it..

buy the WD Power Block, its a proven system

How did this individual notice a difference if the car had 0km on it when they installed this "chip"??? That means it was never driven!

I remember those. You should pass. Along time ago when I was part of a Saturn forum. Someone had bought a similar "performance" chip to test. It was a big plastic box with a small resistor in it. That was it, a BIG plastic box with 2 wires comming out of it. Inside was just a resistor and nothing else. Anyone remember the cheap electric "superchargers" on e-bay? LOL.

    Re: Tuner chip

I just ran across that on ebay and figured I'd ask. I work with a guy who owns 2 Nissan Z's an old 280 and a 350. He told me about the chip he installed in his 350 and his HP jumped way up just because of the chip. Gmike, your not going to be mad at me if i paint my grill and bezel white diamond are you? Looks good on yours.. Im going there!

    thanks for the re's

    The "electric supercharger"
Yup, I know a guy who put it on his neon, 2 wires hanging off it that he just clipped to the battery to turn it on.

I took him for a spin in the tsi awd talon....amazing what a real turbo can do.

Any proof of this? Dyno, or a CTS with these mods running the 1/4?

HPTuners is the way to go. Find someone local to helpo you if you are not comfortable with it yourself. You can also use their own forum, its a very helpful site.

Concorso, I have heard other members claim 300 hp with these mods. Not at the wheels. When they claimed this I said not possible. Then there were a few members that claimed it to be true. So no, no proof.
