I may just give it a shot then. I wouldn't mind a gloss black on my wheels, less tire shine ill have to use.

Not at all trying to hijack this thread but I've done the same, but only with an aftermarket V grille. Here's what it turned out like.

Thanks so much for sharing this, I've been wanting to do this soon on my 2005 CTS, along with dark tint on the windows. I'll have to think about the license plate area, didn't dawn on me until it was mentioned here after your post. My body color is a medium grey, but the current grill color is so close (yet not so close) that it looks like it was intended to match, but doesn't. Black will me much better, now to decide matte or glossy (current color is glossy). I've never used plastic dip, is it a true dip? I suppose there are directions on the can.

Its a spray paint. Apply it just like any other spray can.

I do not know what that is but I will look it up thanks for the tip bro I appreciate it I just wish that the plastidip had that nice deep black look don't make sense that they don't

I've bought it at lowes in Calgary and seen it at auto value. Both were within a few cents of $20 a can

I live a few hours north of Toronto and we have a local parts supplier (Maslack) that sells it for $8 a can. They are always out of stock. So I go to Lowes here in Sudbury and they price match it and take off another 10%. I just bought 4 cans today to do the wheels on my Mini Cooper to match all the accents and stuff I dipped last week. I also got a can of the original plastidip so I can dip the handles of a few of my pliers and wrenches. I love that stuff!!!
