    car wont start after getting gas

    Okay I have a 2.8 cts and the past 3 times I got gas the car didn't wanna start right away. Now the check engine just come on. Iv been reading and could it be the purge selinoide or whatever?

    If the code is P043x, then most likely it's the purge valve solenoid.

    So the code she gave me was P0496, System high, Purge Flow.
    Thats what she wrote down

    That's another code. So replace the purge valve solenoid.

    Odds are on vapor canister purge valve, take off the engine cover and look for which one of the two variants of valves you have:

    Three connections and one bolt. Two tubes and one electrical. 10 minute job or less.

    They gave you a vent solenoid it goes in the evap canister

    Yeah for your concern u need a purge solenoid. That vent solenoid can be a pain n the butt to replace and isnt necessary in your case
