Cts v steering column in cts

    Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum and have a question. I have an 04 cts. I have the opportunity to get the steering col. and wheel from an 05 cts v. I also have the nav unit from an 05. My question is is this a plug and play conversion as far as the wiring goes. I know the cols interchange with no problems but the steering wheel buttons are different. I'm guessing it may have issues with the button controls. Anyone have any experience here with that?

    Thanks

The steering will fit but will not be fuctional. The nav unit might work if reprogramed by dealer. Do a search on the two topics in the search box on this forum. Both topics have been tried and answered.Welcome to the forum.

I figured that would be the case but thought it was worth a try. My brother works at a dealer so reprogramming the nav should not be a problem. Thanks for the welcome!
