    Plastic covers underneath CTS

Kinda of a weird question but I went to replace my signal bulb the other day and realized the plastic covering under my car is gone, shredded or in one instance hanging on by a thread. Is this an easy fix? Does anyone else have this issue? Cost? Please advise. Thanks

60 bucks on gm parts, its the underbody shield. It may have gotten snagged on something. Someone may have pulled up to close to a curb or parking block. I see this alot, these cars sit low and you have to be aware of the clearance you have. You may find a cheaper one af a salvage yard. Seen one on flea bay but they wanted 75 clams & 40 to ship and it was used. Go figure.

It doesn't do shit. They do it to help air flow under the car. I have always taken them off my cars!!

Just an fyi if u take ur car in to get an oil change. Most oil change places "forget" to put the skid plates back up mostly because they are a pain in the you know what. Im constantly checking behind my guys to make sure they reassemble them.. personally I took all of mine off so i have better air flow, all they do is keep dirt and debris from comming up to the engine compartment, which is just silly because its inevitable. But like mentioned they are relatively cheap and easy to relace.
