help needed. installed eibach springs on my 07'

So I installed the eibach pro kit springs on my car about a week ago and everything went good but now I am getting this squeaking noise from the front passenger side. Just wondering if anyone else has installed these and had the same issue? Thanks

It's probably the new springs squeaking on the factory rubber mounts on the top. Get in there and give it a little shot of WD-40 or similar lubricant and see if it goes away.

I too have this squeak sometimes on the driver side. Same springs. It sound horrible, but usually a little wd-40 fixes it right up.

How long have you had your springs installed? Just wondering how long this will last.

Did y'all install them yourselves or pay? If you paid to have them installed, how much?

2 months. they haven't squeaked for a while though. last time the one started squeaking was after I went rain drifting. Sprayed it up with WD-40 and went away again. It's best to lift the car on the side then spray it. allows the spray to get in between. It's also possible that you might not of got the spring seated right also. If wd-40 doesn't work, it may be worth it to take the spring off and reseat it in the rubber mount.

I installed mine with the help of mickmosh here on the forums. its fairly easy actually. just takes a few hours.

That will show you how to remove the fronts, you don't really need the other info as you don't have to remove seats just for springs. If you want to wait till mid summer, we could get together to work on this and do a write up for the forums.

I installed mine myself and it took about 6 hours. It was the first time I had done it on this car. The shop down the street from me wanted $600 but that included an alignment too. But I chose to save the money.

That black pieces on top of the bolts of the front shocks? If so, yeah, but it wasn't needed...not like it took any time to take them off though.

I had mine done 3 months ago and it cost $400. Didn't need an alignment at all. Sway bars are great with that setup too!

ya there is a write up, it says you have to drop the rear cradle but you dont.. you just have to use tome prybars and a spring compressor...and be a little daring.
