I think 19s or 20s would look good. I've got 18's and I would prefer more wheel and a lower profile tire, something dignified for the CTS. Plenty of options to choose from. Hopefully, the manufactuers will take the hint and start offering 19s or 20's as a factory option. I'm not impressed with most aftermarket wheels. The 16s and 17s OEM wheels offered are a joke. The CTS-V wheels are NICE!Give us more!

I am reminded of a set of 19s that one of the forum's most esteemed members, 'miscreant', posted a couple months ago...

Hopefully, he'll chime in and tell us if he ever installed larger brakes.

I have a kit to put 18" XLR wheels on our cars. Click the link below my signature to find the auction for XLR wheels. I can also sell just the wheels and hub kits for $1200. The styling of the XLR wheel makes it look more like a 19" wheel than an 18" wheel.

    cheers,

    ~Doc

I bought my 18" XLR wheels from Cardio-Doc off of eBay. He's very knowedgable and prices his items fairly. He knows Cadillac wheels and sells all types. If you're looking for Cadillac wheels, keep an eye on his eBay auctions or contact him directly.

I was thinking of putting 20's on my car but I had heard alot of stories about rubbing and the ride goes to hell. Have any of you's experienced this or is it just Jersey.

    Re: cts owners (20"rims)

    dear cadillac kid,
my CTS on 20's have NEVER rubbed the wheel well. i can make full turns with confidence. the other rumor about the ride "going to hell" is not true, in my opinion. i did notice a difference after the 20's were put on, but nothing too drastic, again, in my opinion. the ride quality is more of a personal preference. if i could go back in time to do it again, i would. i love catching peoples attention with all the chrome, with them probably saying, "what kind of vehicle is that!?" i hope this reply was somewhat informative for you.
