My car came with new oem light housing when I bought it 3 months ago. Got these 8k hids and placed the ballast inside housing and closed it up. I didnt want to drill a hole to run wires out. I just dont know if its safe due to heat.

Ahhh I see I see. What did you have to do wiring wise? Is it just plug & play? (Are the HID connections already there?)

They do look nice though. Make sure you're not aimed right at oncoming traffic though eh. Don't want to be one of those people.

Ok so just to be clear.....HID headlights and LED fog lights right? They look nice. The fogs look pretty bright for LED if they are.

Hid lamp in FOG very dazzle oncoming drivers. I would recommend you make out fog lamp and make defletor transparent. It is quite possible with the grinder.

Well now I am confused. Everyone seems to have used 9005's. Trim one tab and they fit. But you say the H10's are plug and play with no modifications?

Ok thanks Wila, going to return mine and get the H10. I don't like modifying lights if I can avoid it.

Yeah, that's what I am using now. 9145/H10 bulbs are the oem size bulbs. I bought 9005 first. I apparently trimmed on tab too much and blew a bulb because it wasn't sitting properly.

So its a 9006 bulb for low beams, 9005 bulb for highbeams, and H10 for fogs?
