    help!

I've got a 2006 cts with 95,000 miles, and I've been having to put coolant in it once or twice a week. Last night it started making strange noises, then it started smoking so I pulled over and coolant was coming out from the top pulley. I need to know what it could be or is it the water pump blown?

What was the status of the temperature gauge when this started?

More than likely water pump failure, remove the belt and check for play on the pump, if it moves up and down or doesn't move at all, time for a new water pump

The water outlet is above that pulley. Could you tell us what it was and if you fixed it please.
