front end rattling on my 03
So I've taken my cts to 2 dealers where they looked all up under my car and could find no problem. It sounds like there is a piece of metal or something like that loose in der my car in the front end. If there's even the slightest bump the front end rattles. It sounds like it has something to do with the front axle but like I said I've had it looked at a few times and they say they can't find anything loose or that would make a noise. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Anti roll bar bushings perhaps, mine has a similar rattle at the front over bumps so will be keeping an eye on this thread, but i suspect that's what mine could be!

I have a similar rattle but I only get in right hand turns. Have replaced sway bar bushings, sway links and a ball joint( that was loose), but still have the rattle. Front struts an mounts are good so I'm just gonna leave it be.

I had a rattle that I thought was coming from front end......turns out it was a broken plate that holds up the exhaust pretty much right under the drivers feet.

Had a front end drivers side rattle that drove me crazy for over a year. No dealer could figure it out until I finally got a tech worth a damn. Turned out to be loose clips on the brake pad. The way to test it is to gently apply the brakes while going over bumps. If the rattle goes away, you've found the culprit. Easy fix.
