    Grille insert

Has anyone ever installed one of the eBay billet grille inserts? Like the one in the picture. I want to get the fog light and bottom grille insert but I was wondering if you had to do any cutting to install them

A friend of mine installed those on his cts, they fit well and are extremely cheap. You can get the grill/fog set for under $100

I'm in complete agreement. Why would you want that?

just my opinion of course, because as ugly as they are, should not be hard to find. unless they quit making the stuff

The car I have had the billet grille installed when I bought it. I didn't know it wasn't standard. It actually looks way better than the standard one, as long as you aren't covering the fog lights.

I mean I suppose it's up to personal taste, but I have seen those on the CTS up close and personal before and each time I almost puked. Maybe it's just me, but personally I like the standard grille much much better. If I were to go aftermarket, it would be the sport grille or V grille, which note were both also original grille variants.

Personally I don't like the billet grills either, only mesh grills. The stock grill just makes the cts look like an old ladies ride. Unless some type of appearance mod is done to the 1st gen cts, it blends in with a sea of impalas, malibus, and camrys.. Not exciting at all.
