    Tighten mirror

How do I tighten the rear view mirror? Any way to silence it? Subs shake it like crazy and the noise is awful.

My rear view mirror shakes to my subs too, but doesn't rattle. Not sure how to tighten as i thought it was just a ball/hub connection?

It's to the point now when the music is on it's sag down and I have to push it back up constantly. Any fix?

...I had mine fall off while driving months ago. The adhesive/glue gave way. Tried the auto store re-application kits, jb weld, krazy glue and everything else. Ended up buying a wider and lighter aftermarket mirror and have had no loose/wobbling issues.

I feel like a tard here, but how do you use the dimming features? I thought it was just automatic.

Thorenzen, I just wanted to hop on this thread quickly to let you know there is an on/off button for the Automatic Dimming Rearview Mirror with OnStar feature. That button is located on the lower left side of the mirror and is used for the automatic dimming functions of the rearview mirror. According to page 2-39 of your owners manual, simply press and release the on/off button to turn the automatic dimming feature on or off. The indicator light will illuminate when this feature is on.

For further assistance, don't hesitate to email me at Katie_Lucille@gmexpert.com!

    Hope this helps,

Thank you, Katie. I didn't realize that was an option. I just assumed it was always on. I love the feature though.
