Mine's the same way and I just had my thermostat replaced last week. thank god for heated seats. It's weird though the defroster seems to get warm enough to clear the windshield, just luke warm coming out of the regular vents

Curious as to the labour cost, time spent, of thermostat replacement. Mines fine but mechanic told me their a bitch to get at?

I actually lucked out when I bought the car last week I told them I wouldn't take it unless it was replaced (along with a few other pain in the ass replacements). All I saw was them working on it and the old part to be tossed out, but no invoice. It hadn't been replaced yet and at just under 100,000 miles I figured why the hell not!

I doubt it since mine was just replaced and I have the same symptoms you do...assuming it's the same problem. Mine gets warm it just takes a lot longer than I'd like. It being 20 degrees out this week, it's never hot by the time I get to work, which is about 20 minutes away.

That's why I asked. Ha. I am a slot tech at Foxwoods. So maybe we can meet up some time to look at your heater.
