    Re: 05+ STS Fogs

STS-V is what you want, the base STS has a larger foglight.

    Re: 05+ STS Fogs

Alrighty, and that fits the stock bumper? or do I need the CTS-V bumper for them? Not wanting to do much mounting fab, and I liked the look of the projectors.

    Like this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/2005-2011-Ca...9acd17&vxp=mtr

    Thanks KOT

I wouldn't know if they will fit or not. But, KOT has said that you need the fogs from the V and the description on the lights says STS/STS-V. I'm not too sure if they even know what they are for. You might want to contact the seller and get clarification!

Yeah....defiantly check with them. The sts fogs and the sts-v fogs are not interchangeable. They have different bumpers and the foglight housings are a different size.

    Re: 05+ STS Fogs

This seller knows what he has and knows what car it goes to, AS IS. However, as a buyer I also know that these will work on our cars too. But not as is, modifying it is Real simple and easy.

The black mounting piece that is in the picture can easily be taken off. All there is are 3 push pin tabs. Just like what is holding the wheel well cover to access the fog lights. So if you know how to remove those, you know how to remove the fog light lens from the foglight mounting bracket.

The STS-V fog lights have to be dated before August 2007 from manufacturer to fit our cars though.

Thank you KOT, but I was really hoping for the ones with the projectors on the bottems if its possible. I like the way they look and its something more different than just clear lenses.

Not possible, the ones with the projectors are at least 4 or 5 inches bigger. Height wise that is.

You might be able to get that look If you are willing to do some modding to your old housings if you get the new ones.. Do a search in the cts-v section. A member modded his fog housings to accept mini projectors and was successful. I'll see if I can find the link.

Yeah. I understand what you mean. I have a spare set of fog housing and one projector from the sts and I was considering doing that MOD. I decided I wasn't positive that I could pull this off with only one spare set if fogs and projectors. So I scrapped the project. The projector is gone but I still have the fogs. If those were CCFL halos then there wouldn't be a problem matching HIDs to it either.

Fuzzy logic set up is nice but I would change the grill to a sports grille [COLOR="Silver"]

Now that I think about it. Gemcity customs might still be making custom fogs with projectors. He hasn't been on for a little while.

PM me if you want his email.
