    Brake Pads

What type of pads should I be running on an 04 CTS 3.2L 5sp? Ceramic, semi-metallic, organic? It has stock rotors. I'm looking for the different opinions. Mine are at the wear limiters, so I need to make a quick decision. Thanks for any replies.

    Re: Brake Pads

I'd be glad to help you out if you need new brake pads. I would suggest going with ceramic pads as well for less dust and noise.

Had ceramic pads on my CTS with the R1 slotted e-line rotors, stopping power was phenomenal.

I recently changed My front pads and went with a very good set of ceramics. Rotors were in great shape so i didn't change them. They stop great and no noise what so ever. A week later i went to change the rear pads..noone had ceramics so i used standard pads. They stop fine but the squeal is driving me nuts plus the brake dust is horrible. I ordered the same brand of ceramics for the rear and will be swapping them out next week.
