Checked the wiring between the injector and the wire conector on the manifold. It seems ok. Does that mean ecu problem?

one other thing i forgot to add. there was a little bit of oil in my intake tube. i also noticed there was oil on the fuel injector. no other injectors had signs of oil on it. maybe i can try to change that spark plug?

Took the car to the dealer yesterday. Today they called back. Looks like I need a new ECU and fuel take pressure sensor. $1700 whoo hoo.

hey8you i have exactly the same problem on my 05 3.6 cts.its doing it for 2 months. they first changed the pcm then the plug and coil for #1. still same po201 .i put some injector cleaner still same .it doesnt do it everytime sometimes in the morning and sometimes during drive .horrible shake.always same code .i dropped it off at the dealer . they think it could be wiring to the injector or the injector.it was already in the shop 5 times .i have another 05 cts never did this ,neither my2011 cts nor my 2011 srx.this is soo frustating. i started thinking to get rid of it if they cant fix it this time

I wonder why they didn't already check the wiring.

I understand your frustrations. I have been chasing a clicking noise for about a year. Spent a lot of money on replacement parts for the suspension and a few hours installing them. I ended up asking the dealer to look into it and it turns out it maybe my K&N filter making contact with a metal piece.

You could buy the PCM yourself and the Drew tech doggle and a 55$ sub to ACdelcoTDS and take care of the PCM yourself.

Quick search of Drew tech shows its $1680.00 just for the unit. Is that the same thing a as a tech II? Probably would have been cheaper to just buy a pcm and have the dealer reprogram it. My CTS is also my DD and I didn't want to rent a car until I got the parts. I miss having 2 cars.

Buy the mongoose cable and sub from ACDELCOTDS.com and it can be done for under $600 plus parts
