Post Cadillac members I need some help with my car!

I bought a 2004 CTS this past January, it now has 99k w/ 3.6L engine.

I will post pictures up at a later time.

So there's a problem now the engine light came on.

Scanner pulls up, P0302 + P0202- So I believe it has a bad catalytic converter

I just want to drive to work and come home without that check engine light on! It did blink on and off when I accelerated on a inclined street or hill. If you were in my shoes what would you do from here.

P0202 is an injector fault which would cause a P0302. You need to check for PCM injector signal with and also need to ohm the injector. Most likely is the injector is faulty but could also be the injector driver inside the PCM. The code means the injector is not firing for some reason.

what he said. One way to check this is to swap the injector to the other side. if the code follows the injector then replaec the injector. This really isn't a difficult job. I could mechanic can swap in out in an hour, plus parts. some mechanics may try to convince you to change all of them which you don't have to. Find a local non dealer guy to do the job.
