I just shed a tear... Hurts my heart to see that but we're glad you're ok.

The damage looks to be more than the worth of the car. I didn't know it was that bad.

It was mainly just the front half of the interior but once the fire department got a hold of it i thought it had been hit by another car and exploded

    ^^ You don't say....

And that is horrible. What happened?? This breaks my heart and makes me scared to see my baby ever get like that.

Also, scavenge everything you can! Nothing must go to waste. That left tail light looks in good enough condition? Maybe parts of that exhaust?

Im sure the whole exhaust should be good. The engine was not touched but not sure what the heat might have done to the transmission. Have to see what the insurance co will pay. Might have to argue over the upgrades. The headrest dvd players melted right off, only found part of the screen to one of them. Had the key to the wheel locks in the glove box, wherever that is.

That's rough, scavenge what you can. If you don't want the stuff, you can always mail it to me haha.

But how exactly did this happen? A cigarette or lighter left in the car or something? It appears it all happened from the inside.

Something in the dash shorted. Have not had any work done on it recently. All the interior upgrades were done ove a year ago

Don't do it!!! Stick to the lovely CTS. Well the STS may have more options and I can only imagine the variety of mods out there for it
