    i have hard start problem with my cadillac

    my 2003 cadillac cts wont crank at all. i read from this forum that it could be the crank sensor, i got that changed it wont crank. kindly help guys, i am frustrated right now

    It won't crank........or it won't start ? If it won't crank check the starter & battery. It has to crank before it will start.
    Get it cranking & go from there

    i have changed both the battery and starter and i am getting a click sound(an attempt to crank)

    my mechanic is telling me it could be the ignition switch............i just don't know

    i had a issue a few months back that sounds like your problem. mine would click. i first changed the starter relay, which didnt help. then had the starter replaced and that seemed to fix the issue....for about 2 months. i then went and had the battery tested and it ended up being the battery. another memeber, gmhuskie was having the same issue, not sure if he solved his problem. not a whole lot of info, but http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...lick-then.html

    Map light dimmer switch up above draws a phantom current randomly, it could be your problem.
