4 hours and 28 minutes daylight today with 56 inches of snow. We're past the winter solstice now. A few days ago we had less than four hours daylight. In Barrow, Ak. they have 85 days of daylight in summer and 67 days of darkness in winter.

Wow, I love the sun! Don't you guys get depressed? That's not a lot of time to enjoy the shine on your CTS!

This is not that bad. I pay around the same amount for minimum coverages with one ticket, at 22 years old, on anything from the 2000 740, to the 02 LS im fiddling with right now.

crockone, the daylight time is right. I checked with the weather bureau before posting. At noon, the sun is about 12 deg. above the horizon and it doesn't do much. The temp was +33F today and we had some rain. The roads were as slick as snot on a glass doorknob. it's supposed to go to -30F over the wekend. Normal daytime highs are -10F to 0F in January.
