I TOTALLY agree! While we do some work for NASA, the bulk of our customers are commercial. There's no low-ball bidding . . . we get contracts on a phone call, and they don't limit our fee (profit). Besides NASA takes 10 years to build a satellite, when they manage it . . . too many managers and meetings! We do it in two years (even GEO COMM birds)! I worked Space Station for 12 years and we were ALWAYS "2 years 'till launch".

Life is MUCH more profitable in the private sector . . . so I can fund all my toys (especially the CTS)!

IT management consultant, currently project manager on part of a statewide child support enforcement system. Since my team has shrunk from 7 to 1 (me) over the past 4 years, I actually wear all the hats. Please stay current in your child support payments and keep your kids insured.

Stay current allright..at the rate you guys "extort" from fathers all the kids mothers will be driving CTS'....lol. No attack on you personally, of course, but I've seen cases where dads are just shafted by the system...guess it is cheaper to keep her!

No offense taken. I'm used to the abuse, I used to work for a company that wrote HMO management software. I have a friend who worked for a company that made software for telemarketers and we've argued over who people love to hate more.
