Lets's just say I carry a gold cup with 'STAG' written in diamonds on the cup and I got a stable of bee-yatches. However, my 'beard' job is a project manager for a Fortune 500 company.

Re: What does everyone do for a living to afford their CTS?

Attorney at Law. Civil Litigation (Defense) When I bought my CTS I worked for a firm in LA whose biggest client was GM. Got the CTS with the GM Supplier discount then bounced...and went to another firm!

ORLANDO and 7c5t7s-- if y'all ever get busted let me know...and by the way..don't just sell it in the inner cities...sling that stuff in the suburbs too.....oops, my bad....when you do that that's when we have a real problem..selling rocks to the kids in the suburbs!!!

And yeah, this thread may be a bit pretentious but hell, everyone was thinking it anyway....At least I know they are thinking it when they see me rolling down Crenshaw Boulevard in South Central LA in my tricked out CTS! It kills them even more (LAPD especially) when you pull up in front of the court house and they see a suit and a briefcase getting out of the car as opposed to the "expected" baggy jeans and bling!

we're really not talking about an expensive car here...there's Jeeps out there that you see every day that cost as much and more than a new CTS. Don't misunderstand, I've owned lots of cars and think that the CTS is one of the best road cars available today for American highways, it's just Cadillac's entry model and priced for the "middle income" market.

Be careful what you wish for STAG. I worked for NASA for years. From the outside seems like a cool job. Once you get in there better be prepared for red-tape and lots of politics.

Agreed. I would consider a $33k car to be rather afforbadle for most people that hold a full time job and dont have too many obligations.
