    Re: Heated Seats

The buttons for the heated seats are on the center stack. On the very far left and right (driver & passenger) of where the buttons for air recirculation, front defroster, and rear defroster are located..

Heated seats have always been listed as standard equipment... Atleast up in Canada... Wow, didn't kno it was optional in the states.

Go to the Cadillac.com site, the interior picture #5 shows the buttons if you look closely you can see them. They are located above the HVAC display next to the defroster buttons, one is above the 68 degree and the other is over the 70 degree.

You don't have ANY of those buttons, or just the ones for the seats only.

There are aftermarket seat heaters you can buy, but I don't know what the quality is. I was considering that for my wife, but ended up getting the '04 lux edition and that included heated seats.

    Re: Heated Seats

You might be better off finding a wrecked CTS with the seats and then just taking what you needed. Sounds like it might be a big job...you would need switches, wiring, heating units, olus you must modify your panel to accept the new switchgear. ALthough, I wonder if the seats are pre-wired and it would just be a simple plug in and mounting of the units in the seat bottoms.

Lastly, I don't know about you, but anytime I hear anyone retrofitting anything to do with heating, I worry about fire risks.

All the local pimpmobile, graphics, and running board stores carry aftermarket heated seats.
