    Any issues with the volant in the winter?

    Hey guys just wondering how the volant performs in the winter time? or do you guys remove it for that time?

    I had no issues with it during winters. Its closed box, so it shouldn't affect it majorly. If anything, just a bit more horsepower.

    Thnx for the response! I was just worried about snow getting in the exposed front end snorkle on the box

    All air filters gets a little moisture on them from the elements. But they are at levels that are of no concern. Heck, I've seen a K&N cold air intake off a Jeep that went "mudding". That thing was caked on with mud and the Jeep ran fine all the way home. So a little snow is not going to bother anything.

    This one isn't nearly as bad as the one that I mentioned. But I believe you get the gist of it.

    No problems here, although this past winter was my first and a mild one. I'd be more concern with excess oil getting on my MAF and causing calibration issues during cold weather operating conditions.
