Common issue, paint will eventually come off completely leaving ugly, white spots...buttons have to be repainted

I took both the volume nob and channel changer nob off and painted them with plastidip(all i had) and clear coat. looks much better. As for the other buttons, If you want to loose the light bubbles or have them really dark, you can take ur headunit out tape off everything but the buttons and paint them as well, but its alot of work and u need to put a bag around the rest of the unit so spray doesn't get inside.

Alright thanks for the tips.. That won't be a prob because the nav unit hasn't arrived yet so when it gets here ill just tape it off real good... Hopefully it'll turn out good.

I may be able to find some before and after pics of the nobs, I havent fixed the radio buttons yet though, their not that bad yet...good tip for when ur spraying nobs, if you have an extendable magnent, just extend it and stick the nob on the end of it(theirs a little metal inside the nob that will keep em hooked up). worked great when I sprayed mine.

    Found em!

    After

In case you dont know, to remove the nobs just pull, they may be intimidating at first, but you won't break them lol.

Looks good man I think I'm going to try the dash paint bc the buttons on the left and both knobs are pretty rough but I got the unit for a lot cheaper then most of them are priced for on eBay... N thanks for the knob trick ill have to use that
