Cadillac CTS First Generation Forum - 2003 - 2007 Discussion, 06 Cadillac cts misfire in Cadillac CTS Coupe, Sport Sedan and Sport Wagon Forums; I have a 2006 Cadillac cts that has had codes for a misfire on all 6 cylinders. Before I digg ...
If u have a 3.6 like the rest of us yes its very close. Coils are almost accessible without taking off the upper intake plenum and you evgine covers around the top outside of tour engine. And if the foams closed cell why does it retain oil or soot or get dirty at all. Get off you high horse homie ur shit smells just as bad as mine. I dought the biggest cadillac dealership in michigan woyld have a bunch of dipshits working there. If u think all six coils and plugs are bad ur silly. If the Ecu was bad ur shit would barly run. Leaves it down to electrical considering you have your services done on time. What messes w electical more than moisture and dirt. At the very least disconnect all your sensors and coils and clean them. W any luck it could be a loose connection
Had the same problem only a misfire on 3 cylinders on my 2.8L, only getting 25lbs of compression out of the engine and mechanic recommends rebuild/replace engine due to known Cadillac Timing Chain issue (jumped and then bent the valves).
