    Re: Wheel Fitment

    Good timing itscody!!
I learned a lot by reading through several wheel fitment threads,
BUT, I too was just about to ask the experts here for a quick "blessing" on the same thing before I pull the trigger on new shoes:
245/35/20 on 20x8.5 +35 Offset on all four corners - 2007 CTS Performance / Appearance Package (FE5 with stock 18")
    1. Will the front rub the inner fender with 245 wide rubber?
    2. Will I be able to lower the car given these specs?
    3. Will I have to roll my fenders?
    4. Will I have to roll my fenders in order to lower the car with +35 offset and 245s?

    Any advise is much appreciated!

    Re: Wheel Fitment

20x8.5 with a +35 offset on 245/35/20 tire will have a slight rub on the front tires and generally when you are turning right

the perfect fitment is 20x8.5 on 245/35/20 tire with anything between a +38 to +42 offset

the bolt pattern for the 1st gen CTS is 5 x 115...but 5 x 114.3 will fit but is recommended to use wobble lug nuts with them

I pulled the trigger to soon then.
    I got 20x8.5 with a 35+ offset.

And I refuse to use spacers.

Is there a tire size that won't rub

Maybe a 235/35/20 will eliminate the rubbing. Run those up front and 245/35/20 on the backs. ?

So if u figure the offset is 3 up. Mines 3 down. Ur rim is .5 wider mines .5 smaller. I should get away with 235 not rubbing.

What are your rubbing on. If its just the inner plastic wheel wells. Just trim them

235 should not rub but it will be a bit of a rough ride compared to the 245

your best bet with a 20 x 9 wheel is to roll your rear fenders and trim the inner wheel well plastic

So is It the fender it rubs on or the control arm.

Fenders I can deal with. I can fix that easily. So I'll go with 20x8.5 with a 245
