Adding stock navigation to CTS Base.

    Hi Caddy Fam,

I'm currently going through a full transformation with my CTS. Right now I'm fixing all of the mechanics and attempting to add a stock navigation system to it and possibly XM radio. I looked up the DIY instructions and got most of the parts but I was wondering if any of you know where I can get the vss wiring harness? Or do any of you have extra that you wouldn't mind sharing?

Any tips from anyone that made this mod would be greatly appreciated as well.

I started to give up but my bro talked me into doing it and he surprisingly bought me the dvd based navi version. I'm back on it and now selling the CD-rom version that I have.

makes sense and you will enjoy it much more with the DVD version, although it does lack behind the aftermarket navi units (which i am sure you are aware of already)

I originally wanted to do an aftermarket touchscreen nav but it looked to cost more but with a smaller screen. I think stock looks better though.

Hey why is my dealership trying to charge me $155 to program the Nav. Is that the correct price?

each stealership has their own price...i have seen some do it for $50 and some do it for up to $200...any GM stealership can do it, it doesnt have to be a Caddy stealership
