i havent been in the V section much, just for suspension info and other general repairs like the HID ballast for $50.
havent had any issues with the V guys at all, infact they have been great help. i wish i knew the guys username that i got my V sways off...he went through absolute hell getting them to me in canada because UPS didnt like how they were packaged. i sent him a extra $20 as a thanks for going back to UPS to ship me the.
he only charged me $50 for front and back...the shipping was insane($120), but well worth it.

personally, i think fake badges on any car is horrible...body parts i like, especially the V bumper...like honestly, what other good options is there out there?

a lot... how much are you willing to spend?

the bumper alone is $721 at list price (forum discount price is just over $500) - it will also need to get painted, so factor in that cost too
then there's the grille (you're not going to rock a stock grille on a v bumper are you? - prices vary, but i suggest the sport package grille which is about $400)
and the lower grille (stock lower v bumper grille is $514 at list price - )

    basically it's a $1500+ project (at least that's how I see it)
i'm sure it can be done for less, but if you go with new parts at the best prices you can find these three main parts alone will run you about $1500

watch out for GMPD's shipping & handling charges ... sometimes they're acceptable, but often they pad it to make up for selling the part so cheaply... often you'll see s&h be way more than you would expect

    Re: Pictures of cts-v bumper.

yeah i'm about to revive the GMPD Sux thread...
i ran across a part number so i googled it and GMPG, GMPD and the CF GMPD Sux thread all were in the top results

GMPG had the part at the same price that I sell it for (basically)
GMPD had the part for about $100 cheaper, so I checked their S&H and it was $128!!

    Hello, Roma.

I was wondering if you ever got the V wheel well covers put in? I have a '06 with the 18" wheel performance package (same wheels and grill as yours). I really like how the sport grill looks with the V bumper cover. Other than the bumper cover, V fog lights, screws, expansion fasteners, and the wheel well covers, is there anything else you needed to make this conversion?

    Cheers!
