Remember this thread about posers on the V forum?....It is a good read.

The V body kit is one of my favorites, I hope to complete my poser mods soon!

That thread is the exact reason why a few immature haters give the rest of the V forum a bad rep.

Meh, been the same thing with every type of car i've owned. Deusch bags who think their top end model is super awesome and anything below them is turd paper. I honestly hate people like this, imo as long as you don't try to badge yours as something is not then you are just doing appearance mods. Back in 2002/2003 when I had a v6 camaro it was the same thing from the ss/z28 owners " oh your v6 camaro is a pos and you put a ss hood on it so your a poser who should die".

I actually chose my 3.6 over a V model that was the same cost based on lower mileage and a newer year. Plus I hate stick shifts due to my bad ankle that I've broke twice.

I had a new Camaro LT, and in anything but a straight line, it could embarrass a lot of V8 cars out there.

It bums me about the V forum. Because there are MANY, MANY great guys in there who are very helpful. But it just takes a few oddballs making arrogant posts to make the whole forum look bad. V2 is even worse.

yeah I have a 2011 camaro v6 with a cold-air kit and it destroys alot of V8's. Last track day I went too I put a beating a 99 mustang gt convertible and ran toe to toe with hemi Chrysler 300. Even though it has more horsepower then an LS1 camaro ss/z28 (98-2002) I'm nowhere near as fast as those though.

It has more peak horsepower. But look at the torque curve on an LS1, and on the LLT, and you will see why you are not as fast. I am taking the SS to the strip next weekend to see what she can do. What I can do

The V guys who showed up for the east coast meet were great guys... I wouldn't weigh the reputation of the entire forum on 1 thread filled with retards.
