    Eibach springs

I've been trying to read all of the information about the Eibach (or other mfg) springs and if they have an impact on the stock shocks but am still confused. I have the sport package. Will these springs work without getting new shocks?
    Thanks

According th Eibach R&D department; you need to replace the rear shocks.

    Re: Eibach springs

I have the 04 Cts with the sport suspension and load leveling and just had my dealer installed the Eibach Springs for the CTS. The front looks nice and low, but the rear is still high. I also have 20" wheels on the car. Now I have to replace the rear shocks because the rear is just too high.

What kind of shocks do you have to replace them with?

    Re: Eibach springs

I will be replacing them with the regular CTS shocks without the load leveling. I found out through this forum that they are available at http://www.gmpartsdirect.com. The part number is 25770612. GM parts direct sells them for about $67 each.

Report back to us to tell us if those shocks fixed your probelms. I was going to get the eibach springs within the next couple of weeks and have noticed how the rear end sits higher on lowered cars, would like to go with cheaper gm parts over higher priced shocks. thanks

I will definitely report back..if I can only get gmpartsdirect to process my order. I have used 2 different credit cards now and they keep telling me my address does not match The customer service number is an automated greeting. But somehow I will get those shocks, install them, reprt back with pics. The front looks so awesome it would be a shame not to get the rear done properly.

if gmpartsdirect cant do your order, then go to:
    http://www.partszoneonline.com
these guys do an excellent job, nice people and quick service, they are however slightly more expensive, but just barely, but I can for usre live with that, due to their good service
