Lunds headers with different cats please help?
Helllo Cadillac Members,
An acquittance of mine is selling me his Lunds headers. Unfortunately though, he only has one high performance cat. He has no clue how he lost the other cat, however it is long gone. I have a few questions if any member may please take the time to answer, I would appreciate it.
May I use different High flow cats with the Lund headers? Will i expect a loss in hp n torque if i use different cats?
Has anyone ever used the lund headers with different high flow cats?
Does anyone know where i can find one cadillac high performance cat?
Thanks in advance to all. Here are some pics of the headers.

Re: Lunds headers with different cats please help?
what year CTS or size engine do you have? and you can use different cats if you would like. i personally have Kook's cats with my custom made headers and have had absolutely no problems. as for getting some high flows cats used, you can try www.car-part.com

Re: Lunds headers with different cats please help?
Thanks for your response. I have a 3.6. I just wanted to make sure other cats will work before jumping on this deal. Thanks you. By the way, how's that sports grill looking?

Sorry for the confusion, I thought i had sold you a sports grill, but i was confusing you with a different forum member. I'll be posting a black V bumper with the lower grill on the classified if interested.

Re: Lunds headers with different cats please help?
Yeah I think I got lucky. I'm wonder what would be the best
hp & torque gain with minimal exhaust noise. Don't get me wrong,
I like the sound of a good exhaust, however I wouldn't want to hear
my exhaust too much traveling at a steady speed. I've heard many cars
that sounds as if they were punching the gas and traveling very slow.
Any opinions on this set up guys?
Lunds headers to the kooks high flow cats, to a magnaflow x pipe,
to a borla dual in/out muffler to my stock mufflers. I'm curious as too how
it will sound. I'm sure their are many members who have a certain level of
expertise and can help me with my exhaust.
Thanks in advance guys.

Re: Lunds headers with different cats please help?
I've got lund headers with different cats and they work fine. A little too loud at slow speeds though like you mentioned.

Re: Lunds headers with different cats please help?
Did you use your stock gaskets on the Lunds headers? or did they come with their own gaskets?
Anyone in the Los Angeles area with the Lunds headers installed or corsa exhaust?
I would really like to hear the sounds in person.

Re: Lunds headers with different cats please help?
That sounds hella good!
So in the video you are running stock heads and cats, Magnaflow X-pipe, magnaflow dual in / out muffler, to the corsa mufflers? with 2.25 ss pipes?
Also how is the sound when driving normal? Do you hear the exhaust drone too much?
