I don't remember now, how high does the CTS instant meter go? Does it stop at 99? I have a meter plugged into my obd port, and coasting, I got my 426hp Camaro up to 136 mpg

I thought so too, but that was a long time ago. The obd meters will go as high as the economy will.

If you can indeed prove 30+ MILES per gallon over 100 Kilometers, Ill provide a video of me peeing on myself.
We dont measure in kpg. its LP100KM. 30mpg over 100 km's, or 30 mpg over 62 miles, its still the same. Promising a pee vid isnt doing a good job to convince me to post anything.

Hey man, I could care less if you prove your point or not... no sweat off my sack.. I still call BS on the mystical 30 MPG.

And to your point, if your Caddy is set to metric units (which Im assuming it is, since your talking in kilometers), then my understanding is that the avg fuel usage display on your DIC will be reading KPG... not MPG... thats what I meant.... someone please chime in if Im wrong, as I do not run metric units.

Its measured in L/100km ....don't understand why that's how they do it but it is...
    10 l/100km to me I think is good. I think that's 26.5mpg or so.

Ooooh I see, thanks for clarifying... yeah, thats a weird calc, but to me so is the whole metric system (lol).

Not even going to try to begin to understand what that means in terms of MPGs

You dont care if Im telling the truth or not? So why say BS? Showing a video will prove nothing to you, as it seems like youll put more validity in your opinions, then the facts.

And yes, you are correct about which units are shown, when 1 unit is shown as metric, all will be. 30 mpg over 100kms is no different then saying 30 mpg over 62 miles. The fact that I talked using 2 systems of measurement is donest mean I was incorrect, I just converted the numbers... Most everyone I know up here measures distance in km's, but mileage in MPG. The problem with cross-talk is the american system measures distance/fuel volume (MPG), while in Canada its measured as fuel volume/distance(LP100KM...L/100KM). I thought I explained it with this

Anytime I mention L/100kms, people on this board will suggest using a unit people actually know...

Heres a question for you. How would I shoot the video? I am talking about highway mileage, afterall. Over a 100km's, do I include 1 stop? 5 stops? Do I need to average 100kmph(62mph)? Do I have to keep it at 100kmph constantly, even on inclines and declines? 30C(90F) day, or a 0C(30F) day? 18's with 245 tires summer tires, or 17's with 215 winter tires? I have average over 30 mpgs over a long trip with only 1 stop inbetween. It happens consistently as this is a trip I take once a month. Ive seen as little as 26, and as high as 33.
