I think I would double clamp everything just to be safe. Sandalet had one of his lines blow off after he did his.
I've read about the whole thing with cold climates but I plan to let my car run before I ever drive it off... it does get pretty cold here new york city but there are a few forum members from this area that have reported no issues. Plus my cooler is small...also with the clamps i have some rtv in there with the connects, under the clamps and i let it all set before running he car. An extra set wouldnt hurt...i read what happened with Sandalet.

RCVW, if you were able to read what Sandelet wrote...he, he...his problem was that he forced too small of a rubber hose onto an obviously too large pipe from a Volga cooler. I wasn't surprised that it popped off.

The interior shot wouldn't come up for me. That looks like a car club meeting, Pete. The poster Sandelet referred to above is a member of the Moscow Cadillac Club. He's quite a mechanic. He changed his own timing chains.

Actually Sandalet had a 3.2, so no timing chains, but a belt. Not quite as intensive as chains.

How long do plan on warming it up ? Excessive idling is very bad for an engine & other components, like catalytic converters.
Remember too, that fluid warms up from the friction due to the simple act of flowing under pressure.

Yes it wes at last summer American Auto car club meet which i am a member, and it was a sunny day no rain . about 150 + cars mostly Mustangs, Vetts, Firebirds, & Camaros the odd Thunderbird. We had the about 20 ish Caddys, a few late 50s and early 60s cars, most 80s and 90s, But 2 new ish, Escalades But only one CTS mine Thats why they asked me to park next to the Classics, to show the old to the new ish.. I have loads of Photos but it will not let me put them up.

Damn you have a good eye Argent. Yes this is just a movie set in a big hall. I switched on the water jet system, so I had no use for my nice neighbour chick this time.
