hahahaha it take some extremme enginering ask mike lol its not as easy as it soundss... i drille holes through the top of the grille and put plastic push pins through the grille and mesh them locked them with some home made plastic washers i made to fit took maybe 30 min, most of that cuttin the mesh.. i used cheap galvinized chicken wire and shot it with some clear coat so it wont rust,, and if it does ill change it for another $10 lol not so ghetto anymore ehh lol

Just a few pictures of my new baby. 2006 CTS Sport. I've only owned it about a month so I've got around to doing the aftermarket in-dash DVD/NAV install courtesy of mjs0202's write up. Windows are being tinted 35% all around this weekend and amplifier and Polk subs went in for a little extra punch, but no "crazy ass trunk falling off" kind of punch. Thinking I may go with the CTS-V bumper and grilles swap as well. Still debating on that one. Thanks, and any comments are welcomed. Brandon

Thanks. I definitely like the 7" screen with hidden slot. It couldn't have turned out any better.

gaetano...do you actually like that clear bezel? i like the color match bezel a lot better personally

i also agree with the 20s...especially those black rims in a 20 would look extra clean

What did you guys use to tint your clear bezel? Another member posted pics of his clear bezel spray tinted and the grey surround painted flat black - looked nice - I am looking to do the same, but curiousof other methods - If you could, post a pic and explain what you did - Appreciated.

The vynal is the way to go. We are also going to pull the lense off and properly seal it.
Its best to pull the lense, wrap it trim the extra and have it wrap around the edges, gut out the old glue and then reseal it.
