Mine is great, got from ebay like $120.00 or something. MUCH better then black plastic for miles and miles. Folks in the car have never said..."hey thats aftermarket crap" honestly almost no one has said anything at all. Which is good as they think it came that way. I love it.

I added a caddy wreath on the ashtray piece and it looked good, the rest looked like poo. I threw the remainder of the kit in the garbage.

I did the SAME EXACT thing. Dash kits look good on some cars, but not on the CTS.

Re: Carid.com Dash Kit...how disappointing!

I made the plunge a while back and I am 90% pleased. Yes the overlays are a rubberized plastic but once they are applied you really never touch them again. No one has ever sat in my car and said anything but good things. I didn't use all the pieces because I thought it was overkill. The one gripe I have is that the glue pad gets in the way of some of the switches and buttons if not applied exactly. My window switches would stick because the glue transfered. Only took 10 minutes with an exacto knife to clean of the excess. Sorry the pics aren't the best, the first time using the camera.

The other pices I mangled taking them off so I couldn't even ebay the rest of the kit.
I've learned to love the interior of the CTS and it's simplicity.
