Re: Subwoofers sound like garbage!!

cleansweep or a loc will work . Depends on what you are trying to do. LOC is best If you just want a sub/amp added to you system. Cleansweep is better If you are trying to replace the stock amp/sub and add a Aux input.

Are these suggestions true regardless of if you have the base or the BOSE system?

Here is the link that may answer alot of questions about the cleansweep:

If you are trying to keep quality signal comming from the 5.1 system by using aftermarket speakers/amp, then I suggest the cleansweep. If you just want low level signals going to a aftermarket amp/sub then LOC should do just fine.

Re: Subwoofers sound like garbage!!

For adding just low level signals going to an aftermarket amp/sub shouldnt a PAC work fine? Or is that the same as a LOC? Im thinking LOC to be a lock pick though...clarify?

I believe a lock pick is more similar to the Cleansweep than the LOC. The LOC only does 2 channels and it neutralizes any Highs in the signal from the Left and right channels.

The PAC plugs into factory systems to attach aftermarket amps/subs and utilizes 4 channels instead of 2 like the LOC. It also has a 2:1 gain on the signal with channel (individual I think) adjustment available.

The lock pick is used to unlock you Nav sys, enable bluetooth or allow bluetooth kits, disable driving lockout and add a RCA inputs. It also has the LOC functions for 2 speaker channels. It is plug and play into your factory harness.

I believe that the best bang for you buck when it comes to adding a AUX and managing the Signals throughout your system is the Cleansweep. (Non-NAV)
