Emblem on mush grill/grille

I got my my 05 cts back in july and just noticed that theres a crack on my emblem on my grille. I have the oem mesh grill, does anyone know if any emblem will work (regular grilles with emblem for example) or is there a special emblem for mesh grilles.

If that's a V grill, the emblem is larger than on the regular CTS.

Check out the ones on ebay Especially from Big Daddy Caddy. He shows exactly which OEM sized ones you need for each type of grill.

I just replaced my cheap nasty plastic grille on my 07 cts with the E&G Classic mesh grille (upper and lower). The factory emblem comes off of the cheap grille by using a gasket scraper. Then you'll spend an hour trying to peel the old rubberized tape off to reuse the emblem with new double sided tape.

There are a few small studs on the outer leaf emblem that fit into the furnished round emblem mounting plate that comes with the new (E&G) wire mesh grille to make sure its aligned. So as long as it's not a "V" grille, the aftermarket mesh grille for the non-V CTS will accept the emblem.

Just posted one pic of the E&G mesh grilles I installed, but the mod has to approve it. I also installed the rear stainless exhaust tips and painted rear spoiler (red jewel tintcoat). I just bought this 07 CTS about a month ago. I'm slowly trying to transform it into the Corvette that I just sold prior!
