SIRIUS subscription question

Hey All,

Just got an 06 and the dealership gave me a three month free trail for SIRIUS radio (I can cancel at any time). The car has the little rubber looking antenna on the back and the dealership says that they've activated the service but I just get regular channels. I have the standard DIC, any ideas how to get to the fancy programming? Man, I am starting to miss my 03...

On your band selector, do you have AM, FM, XM? if not the dealer has to activate it with a Tech2.

If you have it and it;s not working, try calling Sirius/XM at 800-967-2346 to be sure you have an account with them. They may ask for the device serial number which sometimes can be found on channel 1 of the XM band.

Hey Sammy,

As far as I know, the dealer activated the account. I will check to see if I can select XM using the band selector; if it doesn't come up, I will give sirius a call.

Yeah, I check and I do have the XM option when I hit the band selector. I just have to call and activate the account.
