    New colors

What do people think of the new CTS colors being offered for 2005?

I saw a white Lightening on a different Caddie and it looked kinda cool, maybe a bit TOO bright and flashy, but neat. I'm not sure but the lighting seemed to make different parts of it seem different shades. Maybe it was dirty.

Anyhoo, Stealth Gray, Sand Storm and Moonstone sound like nice names. Anyone see them and/or have opinions on them? Does anyone know if White Diamond is still available in 2005?

If I were buying again today Stealth Gray would be the choice.

What do you like about Stealth Gray more than the black, if you don't mind my asking?

White Lightning isn't on the 05. It's still White Diamond.

Stealth Grey, Moonstone & Sand Storm are probably not really new colors, but rather new names for variations on existing Cadillac colors. I'd bet the Stealth Gray ain't very different from the Thunder Grey on the deVille & Seville. The Sand Storm is probably alot like the current Bronzemist. They really have not had many REALLY new colors in several years.

No doubt black looks the best, but Stealth Gray would be much easier to maintain and attract less Texas heat. Currently I use Mothers detail spray every other day.

That's good news! Although I like the white lightening (need a closer look) I REALLY like the White Diamond.

I also like the stealth gray. I have an '04 which is light platinum. It does stay much cooler than the black cars I have owned even though I have the ebony interior. The platinum looks good even when it is dirty. I can't say the same for the black cars I have owned in red clay country of NC. My only gripe is that the touch-up paint I ordered from GM does not match the car very well.

That's actually a really sweet colour. I'm going to have a tough time deciding me thinks. Living in snowy Canada, keeping it clean is an issue, but like all my cars before, I'll be washing it frequently to avoid rust, unlike many people here who wait till it gets REALLY salty before washing.

I noticed there's a rust warranty as well. I don't know if I believe in rust proofing.
