Front Seat Replacement

Remove this ad
Hi All,

I have an '04 CTS with 100,000 miles on it. My seats are wearing out a bit so I am thinking about replacing them. My model has no options which means no memory, or power for the passenger seat. Is this pre-wired for power seats? If I find a set that has power passenger seats, will all I have to do is plug it in or will I have to also get a different wiring harness? What about memory?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Front Seat Replacement

You may not need to replace the whole seat. I think you can just replace the leather. Look around for zippers, i haven't looked, but i know on some cars (not sure about cadillacs) you can just replace the leather like a seat cover.

Re: Front Seat Replacement

the leather pulls off the ones with the heated seat option..i have read the service bulliton for replacing the heated seat element, so i am assuming that the leasher on yours can be removed.

it may be cheaper to get yours recovered, also you could get a better quality leather and \i would put on some piping in a different color...kinda like the range rover...sweet truck, my buddy is on his 2nd and he loves it but they have a lot of problems with them.
