In its defense, it sounds a lot better in person. Mike the Caddykid hated the video, then when we met up in person he changed his mind. | ITs really hard to get a feel for an exhuast over a video. Most cheap video cameras dont pick up sound well, muffling certain frequencies and blooming others... I had a similar setup for a bit, and while I changed it to something a little quiter, I had alot of compliments on it, including 1 from an older DTS owner. He said it had a nice deep tone without sounding ignorant. |

He is right. Corsa and Borla calls their resonators rear center mufflers when you look at their exhaust setup. |

There is no way you can exactly describe what you want and interpret what someone is explaining, without actually hearing it to decide wether you like it or not. It depends on your taste...
Good luck! |

Good luck! | I agree with Eldo, its kinda trial and error. With mine I got lucky on the first try, even tho there are other setups ide like to try $$$$ holds me back for now. |

This way you can chose whatever you like. Of course, you need a specialist that cares and takes the time to go through different setups with you. |

I'm pretty sure I would be hard pressed to find a shop like that. The guy I went to wasnt like a custom shop, just a regular old muffler shop. He just knew how to weld and had the SS pipe I wanted, I brought the rest of the parts. Good luck to the people that want a new exhaust! |

I heard Nick's and it does not sound too bad. I really don't see the point in changing the exhaust on the CTS. You are not going to get decent sound out of any exhaust with this engine. The only recent V6 sound I have heard that is very good is the 2nd gen G35 sedan (not the coupe, the coupe sounds rice.)
