Did clear fogs, but can see glue!!

OK, so for the second time i did the clear fog mod myself. Took my old ones out, threw them in the oven and took some plexy glass and some apoxy and wah-lah.

only problem is, i can see some of the dried apoxy when you stand real close. you cant notice it fromo far away, but from close up it looks kinda cheap cause you can see the glue. anyone else have this problem after doing the mod? any ideas how to fix it?

thanks forumers

i take it the glue is on the inside and not the outside? if it is on the outside, take a blade and lightly scrape it off

Is your car black? if so, get some black weather strips and attach it to the sides and bottom of the lens, it should look just like the weather strips that's already on there, maybe that will help. BTW, you are probably the only one who will notice it.

I noticed this also, I heard someone painted the edges to cover that. Also I would try the weather stripping but where do you find that?

I'd start with the home improvement stores, then maybe auto supply stores. It's similar to the black stripping around the doors.
