2004 CTS coolant is leaking from somewhere in the front of the engine. Does not happen all the time.

check all of your hoses and clamps to and from the radiator are secure...

Do you have the 3.2 engine or the 3.6. And when you say front of the engine, it that by the radiator or the motor?

my 2004 did the same exact thing, it was the water pump.

i actually think this is happening to my 04 3.6 too. i noticed it when i popped my hood and looked down like where the latch is i can see a redish wetspot on the plastic on the bottom. im takin it to the dealer next week and will have them look into it
