    Amcha,
Since your location shows Netherlands and you can pick up TV channels I'm guessing you have a European spec CTS. There seem to be some basic differences in the radio/nav systems between the European and US specs. The US units cannot pick up TV. Most of the discussion here has been on playing DVDs on the US spec'ed systems. It probably won't apply to yours. I have a US spec 3.6L here in Germany and the nav system will not load the European GPS DVD

I already feared something like that, still I would like to know how to enter that part of the system where the diagnostic code programming is hidden.
I hope you enjoy your CTS as much as I do mine
    Thanks for your reply

Actually there has been another death in the news in the same type of situation. Police can not prove he was watching the DVD if he has the kind that will also display CD info on the screen and most important if there was no dvd disk in the player.

    Re: Tv while driving

Let's face it, just looking at the Nav screen while I'm driving down the road is dangerous. Sometimes I watch it for 5 seconds because it is showing a road I didn't know about or a little lake. That is VERY dangerous, as a little kid could run out in front of me at that moment. Thank God it hasn't happened, but it could.
